Message from the Chairman

It is my privilege to serve as the Chamber's chief executive officer for the 2007-2008 program year.

Over the past several years, the Chamber has grown its membership base, and has assumed deeper involvement in public policy issues on the local, state and national levels, while continuing to market and promote the Greater Topsail Area as a destination.

The Chamber board has increased to 19 members, and has crystallized into an engaged, cohesive group, committed to fulfilling the Chamber's mission.

Recently, the board authorized an updated, redesigned website that it hopes will continue to play a critical role in facilitating visitor interest in Topsail.

Additionally, Chamber leadership is seeking to generate new programs to increase visitation in the shoulder seasons, such as September's wine tasting event, while broadening the depth and breadth of both new and current programs.

We invite you to become a partner in our vision to be the leader in developing the Topsail area as a premier community in which to live, work and play.
